Team registrations for Season 1 of the Victoria Pickleball League are open. The league is a new competition that connects venues across Victoria, with teams representing their home venue and playing home and away against the rest of the network.
How it works
Matches are played on Sundays, 3:00pm to 5:00pm. Each division has eight teams, two from each venue. Every team plays every other team in its division once over seven rounds, then the top four play two weeks of finals.
Teams are graded into three divisions on the combined DUPR rating of their top four players: DUPR 13, DUPR 15 and DUPR 17. So you play teams at your level, not whoever turned up.
Round one is Sunday 29 November 2026. The Grand Final is Sunday 21 February 2027.
Who can play
A team needs at least four players, with no maximum. Entry is $1,000 per team, including four playing tops, and your venue collects it. Every player needs an active DUPR profile and an active Pickleball Australia or Pickleball Victoria membership.
The four founding venues are State Pickleball Centre, Eastern Indoor Sports Centre, Raya and Pickle4Real. More venues may join before the fixture is set.
Register your team or read how grading works.
